Veronica Bates Kassatly is an independent analyst in the sustainable apparel sector. Whilst investigating comparative fabric sustainability for her own concept brand, Bates Kassatly discovered fabulations passing as fact, and so for the past three years, has researched, written, and spoken extensively on the topic. She is the lead author of The Great Green Washing Machine – a study of sustainability claims in fashion – produced jointly with Professor Baumann-Pauly of Geneva University and The Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights.
