The System Changer program is a 3-step process enabling companies at any stage of their transformative journey to benefit from using the Future-Fit approach. Companies can start at any point, but each step helps the organization learn and embed Future-Fit thinking more deeply into the business strategy.

Future-Fit EngagedStep 1 enables companies to start Engaging with the Future-Fit methodology and begin to analyze the impacts of their business on planet and society.
Engaged certification criteria: • Identify all high priority goals
• Take action on at least 1 high priority goal
• Discuss goal and commitment at a board meeting
• Assign a business owner to oversee progress
• Report to the board on progress within 12 monthsOnce a company has met the above criteria it is eligible for Engaged certification and to display its logo alongside other Engaged businesses on the Future-Fit website.
Step 1 is self-certified and must be repeated annually until the business is ready to progress to Step 2.

Future-Fit EmbeddedStep 2 enables companies to start Embedding the Future-Fit methodology into their business model and start transforming their business toward future-fitness.
Embedded certification criteria: • Identify the priority of all Future-Fit goals
• Commit to take action on 3 of the highest priority goals
• Confirm the commitments at a board meeting
• Report to the board on progress within 12 monthsOnce a company has met the above criteria – and had them verified by a Future-Fit Accredited Advisor – it is eligible for Embedded certification and to display its logo alongside other Embedded businesses on the Future-Fit website.
Step 2 must be verified by an Accredited Advisor and repeated annually until the business is ready to progress to Step 3.

Future-Fit System ChangerStep 3 is for companies ready to make a
public commitment to undertake the journey to become Future-Fit.
System Changer criteria: • Prepare and publish a clear statement of the commitment to become Future-Fit (see sample text here).
Once a company has declared its ambition it is eligible to use the Future-Fit System Changer badge and reflect this official accreditation on the Future-Fit website.
All System Changers are encouraged to publish and regularly update their Future-Fit progress.

Step 1 - Future-Fit Engaged
Future-Fit provides two simple-to-use tools to help identify high priority goals – the Sustainable Business Coach available via local Accredited Advisors, and the Risk Profiler available via the Future-Fit Changemaker website.
Step 2 - Future-Fit Embedded
Step 2 can be achieved using the Risk Profiler tool and the Company Health Check template, both of which are available via the Future-Fit Changemaker website.
Step 3 - Future-Fit System Changer
Track your progress towards future-fitness with the help of your local Accredited Advisor.
