Andy Chung

Andy is a sustainability and technology professional with over 20 years of experience in driving impactful, tech-enabled solutions for smart cities and corporate sustainability. He has developed innovative projects that integrate digital technologies like IoT, AI, and GIS with environmental management, helping organizations across the Asia-Pacific region meet their sustainability goals.

His expertise spans green tech, ESG solutions, and environmental compliance, with a focus on delivering measurable impact in areas such as carbon reduction and resource efficiency.

A prolific author, Andy publishes extensively in leading high-impact journals such as Smart Cities (MDPI), IT Professional (IEEE), Energy (Elsevier), and Noise and Health (Wolters Kluwer). His recent research on carbon-neutrality and the metaverse has been published in World (MDPI) and Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (Wiley).

Andy is also active in the global science and innovation community, serving as Chair of the International Liaison Committee for a peak professional science society in the US and as a judge for prestigious international innovation awards in Japan.

Additionally, he is an accredited advisor to the Future-Fit Foundation, where he guides organizations in adopting future-ready sustainability practices. He has an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a BEng in Electronic Engineering.
