Earlier this week Future-Fit Foundation won the distinction of Highly Commended in the Driving Change Through Education, Training & Academia category of the ICAEW, A4S & Deloitte “Finance for the Future Awards”.
The award recognizes projects that are driving sustainable economies, looking for examples of good practice that could be transformational in building a sustainable organization. The rigorous nature of the assessment process and the seniority and expertise of the judging panel seal the credibility of Finance for the Future Awards and set them apart from other award programs. The judging panel commented that Future-Fit:
“Is a great demonstration of why education is not just restricted to the classroom. The judges admired the translation of academic rigour to sustainable business practice. Future-Fit’s benchmark enables companies to learn how to integrate societal expectations with business decision making, resulting in meaningful disclosure.”
