September ’24 Newsletter

By Alisa Smirnova

It’s that time of year where you ask yourself, how is it September already?!

We’ve been busy over the past month preparing for the last quarter of the year to make sure that we are bringing more engagement and resources to the community, growing our Future-Fit ecosystem and working on a few very cool projects which we can’t wait to tell you about soon.

Country Chapter Launch

Over the past few months, we’ve been working to launch our Country Chapter model and we’re excited to announce the first chapter in Aotearoa New Zealand!

We’re thrilled to have Roger Robson-Williams as our first country lead. His passion for Future-Fit and his proven experience implementing the Benchmark in various organizations across New Zealand will be invaluable.

We aim to expand this model to other countries, with Australia next on the list. If you want to connect with Roger or learn how your organization can start using the Benchmark, feel free to reach out to him in the Changemaker Community or at roger@futurefitbusiness.nz.

International Society of Sustainability Professionals

We were invited to host a webinar for the International Society of Sustainability Professionals network on Thursday, September 26th, focusing on systems thinking and how Future-Fit can drive systemic change.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to welcome everyone who joined our Changemaker Community after the webinar!

Espírito Santo

Martin accompanied Future-Fit Foundation’s Chair, Paul Clements-Hunt, to the beautiful Brazilian city of Vitoria in the state of Espírito Santo (ES). Paul is on a mission to make “ES the ESG Capital of the world” with future-fitness embedded at its heart. We were made to feel extremely welcome, including by the state governor Renato Casagrande. This could be the start of something huge, so watch this space for further developments.
