July ’24 Newsletter

By Alisa Smirnova

We will be taking a short summer break from our webinar series in August, but we’ll be back on September 10th with a very special webinar to relaunch the series. Stay tuned for more details and announcements throughout August.

The Good Small Business Awards

One of our Accredited Advisors, Garth Dallas, co-hosted the second annual Good Small Business Awards at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester this July.

As the UK’s first national sustainability award exclusively for small businesses, Future-Fit was thrilled to support the event. We had the opportunity to attend, meet the inspiring contestants and even present one of the awards! (Possibly Martin’s shortest ever speech??)

All the finalists will go through the Sustainable Business Coach and receive a report prepared by Garth and the team at Dallas Consulting.

“These awards are a culmination of a journey to improve the small business ecosystem and, in doing so, allow larger businesses to benefit from stronger supply chains, partners, and a business environment that is more amenable to responsible business practices and prosperity. These things cannot exist independently of each other.”

SaaS Platform

We are in the early stages of developing a SaaS platform to integrate all our existing tools and introduce additional features to streamline your work with clients. Many of you have been asking for this and we believe it will make the Business Benchmark far more accessible and practical for everyone.

We plan to begin development toward the end of the year and aim to release a Lite version in Q2 2025. The platform will be available on a monthly subscription basis, with further details to be shared later this year. If you have any comments or suggestions, please send Alisa a private message or contact her at alisa@futurefitbusiness.org.

Survey feedback

Thank you to everyone who has already filled out our community survey and shared your valuable ideas for improvements. If you haven’t done so yet, there’s still time! Please share your thoughts by following this link: Community Survey.

We have taken many of your recommendations on board and are currently developing an action plan to enhance engagement and make our community an even more valuable platform. Our goal is to encourage members to share their experiences and challenges, fostering a more vibrant and supportive environment.

We recognize that there are varying levels of knowledge and that some members may feel hesitant to post. To help, we will be providing more content on how to get started and how to effectively use the Benchmark.

For now, we want to hear from you and understand what matters most. If you have a spare five minutes, please complete our survey.

Thank you for your continued support!
