Our purpose is to empower organisations to achieve success and sustainability; and the values we stand for are fairness, persistence and openness. We’re a boutique sustainability consultancy working across New Zealand with our headquarters in Auckland; and provide a wide range services covering strategy development, operational improvement initiatives and reporting. We work with many of New Zealand’s largest organisations and in service of a diverse range of industry sectors.
The firm brought together three separate consultancy businesses in 2016 and we’ve grown quickly from there. Our clients are mostly large corporate organisations, although we also work with non-profits and local government.
Proxima is an active member of the Sustainable Business Council (NZ’s local WSBCD affiliate); the Sustainable Business Network; and the Climate Leaders Coalition. Our firm is the local certified training partner for the Global Reporting Initiative’s GRI Standards and International Integrated Reporting Council’s <IR> framework; and is awaiting accreditation as a certified B Corp.
