IDEAS For Us-Uganda is a branch of IDEAS For Us, an Orlando USA-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an accredited NGO of the United Nations. IDEAS For Us-Uganda is guided by a vision; to contribute to a future where humanity thrives in harmony with nature and in peace with one another. We take action focusing on: energy, water, food, waste, & ecology.
Thousands of volunteers have taken action across Uganda since 2012 and continue to evolve by specializing in helping urban and rural communities advance sustainability at the grassroots level through environmental projects, community action programs, and eco-enterprises.
In the next five years strategic Plan (2025-2029), we plan to add among our other projects; conducting assessment of businesses for their compliance to sustainability principles where we look forward to employing the Future-Fit Business Benchmark tools.
